Late this year, the whole family will be on the road in India. We leave Dec. 1 and will not return until late Jan 2011. The shop will be closed, however we will be answering emails and will still be running the business with the help of friends. If you are thinking of ordering kit materials, you might want to get your order in before we leave.
My wifes family is originally from India and although we will be travelliing mostly through southern India, but will spend time with relatives in Mumbia.
Besides boat building, a lot of my time is taken up by spending time with my wife and daughters. Jordyn was born three years ago, and our new addition, Jayda, was born on Jan 11, 2009. Jordyn loves to spend time at the shop and has taken to all the “cool” tools. Many of our customers have joined in the celebration of our growing family, by either see Jordyn at the shop or joining us at the annual “Meet at the Beach” sponsored each year by Orca Boats. My wife is currently on “Mat” leave which means we both benefit from the time spent with the two girls. Jordyn is particularly enjoying ballet classes and is becoming quite the good little ice skater.
